For the second time in the last 40 years, all four original members of The Rascals reformed over the weekend for the Kristen Ann Carr benefit honoring E Street Band member Little Steven Van Zandt and his wife. Apparently Little Steven has been trying to reunite the band for the better part of 30 years saying that every 5 years or so he would get the band together and try to make it work. Speaking before the event Van Zandt elaborated on the rehearsals saying, "Rehearsals have been incredible and of course my hope is they can stay together and finally show the world why they are one of rock & roll history's greatest bands."
We got a video, thanks to themaypang, from The Tribeca Grill where you can see Van Zandt rocking the tambourine during a performance of the Rascals classic "Good Lovin'." And yes that's totally Bruce rocking with them, he never misses a gig do you actually think he would miss this one?!
