MGMT Rock An Hour Long Set After Letterman

MGMT Rock An Hour Long Set After Letterman: "

We have never seen such a thing in all our lives: MGMT is the featured band for a special CBS performance at the Ed Sullivan Theater after the The Late Show. CBS used the internet to stream the whole thing live, allowing for an uninterrupted show with no commercials or anything. It baffles us how MGMT has become so accessible, especially with releasing such a weird record in Congratulations this year. The best part of the performance was when Andrew VanWyngarden opens up the song 'It's Working' by stating 'This is a song about doing drugs,' of which the crowd loved! I'm sure the Theater hasn't seen that much rebellion since Jim Morrison said 'higher' on live TV!

Here you have it, a pretty damn good performance for tons of out-of-touch, middle-aged people, and a few kids up front being held without bathroom breaks. Enjoy!
