Always the constant innovator, Lou Reed has been pushing the boundaries of Rock 'n' Roll for the last 40 plus years. His music has always been for human ears though, and it seems that the final frontier for his music just might be for the dogs. It was just announced that Lou, and his experimental musician wife Laurie Anderson, will be putting on a concert exclusively for dogs as part of Sydney's Vivid LIVE festival that takes place on June 5. "Music For Dogs" will include a series of extra high pitched songs and will take place on the Sydney Opera House’s northern boardwalk at 10am EST. The show is said to be only 20-minutes long due to the dog's short attention span and it will be inaudible to all humans.
We are pretty bummed that we are human and are going to miss the performance. We are now on the search to find a real life Brian from Family Guy type dog, so that he can tell us all about the performance over a martini. If anyone knows such a dog hit us back, and we'll even fly them out to Sydney.
