The Associated Press reported today that Justin Timberlake has come out of the Vinyl Closet, explaining his love for music medium. Speaking with an interviewer at German newspaper Frankfurter Rundschau on Thursday he admitted that he loves putting on records featuring oldies from the Beach Boys and early Beatles, explaining that vinyl records "sound warmer" and "more vintage" than digital versions.
Ding Ding, JT hits it right on the head, vinyl sure does sound more "warmer" and "vintage!" This news gets us excited about one thing in particular, and that's the inevitable re-release of all that great 'N Sync stuff on picture disk vinyl! Can you imagine the vintage, warm feel a track like "Bye Bye Bye" could have!
