Hey, happy pops day!
Today Nicks pick will be The War on Drugs. They hail from Philadelphia and are super awesome. Kurt Vile plays with these dudes, and anything Kurt is involved with, well you know...
Back in 2008 they came out with one of my very favorite records called Whagonwheel Blues. Our good bud Jeff Z recorded it, which is why it probably rocks even harder! Within a few months the band should be coming out with a new record, I'm super stoked about it.
'If anybody cares the new War on Drugs is fuckin' epic and will be done soon.' says Adam, the singer of War on Drugs. Speaking of Adam, If any of you live in the Philly area keep an eye out for the singers dog, it just went missing. Her name is Alice and she's a reddish brown pit, you can check out the post below.
