Happy Northside Festival! So much to do, so little time. Me and some friends rolled on over to Spike Hill to catch Steel Phantoms and Sean Bones tonight (Thurs). Both acts rocked in a very awesome way. You can catch Steel Phantoms, along with Heavenly Beat and Minks tomorrow evening (Fri) at Union Pool. Us at Daily Vinyl are throwing the hot party, and one of our favorite local record shops, Co-oP 87 will be joining us and selling some nice vinyl in the outside area throughout the evening. Doors at 5 or 6, music starts at 7. Come on down, it will be super fine.
Speaking of super fine, I cannot get this track off the new Ariel Pink record out of my head. It's called 'Bright Lit Blue Skies', and swings so beautifully. Check it out below. Gotta go, see you tomorrow!!
