Slated for a November 2nd release, Kill Rock Stars and Domino Records will release an entry level course in Elliott Smith which consists of 14 songs from his seven albums. The record will serve as the Elliott 101 course, much like your Sociology 101 course wet your appetite for further exploration. 

For the two of our readers who do not own any of Elliott's albums, or if you do not own any on vinyl, you can pick up this collection of songs on 180 gram vinyl when it's released in November. The songs chosen could be considered a "singles" collection, although many of our personal favorites are left out on this. 

Kill Rock Stars also recently reissued Roman Candle and From a Basement on the Hill this year, which now makes Kill Rock Stars responsible for all of Smith's catalog minus his 2 major label releases.
