Rumor has it that Liam Gallagher recently purchased the rights for a screen adaptation of the book "The Longest Cocktail Party: An Insider's Diary of the Beatles, Their Million Dollar Apple Empire and Its Wild Rise and Fall" and is set to unveil the project at Cannes. It's a great book written by Richard DiLello that describes what it was like to work for The Beatles in the late '60s.
Liam is said to be collaborating with Revolution Films, and they are currently looking for a screenwriter and director for the project. There is no word yet if Liam will appear in the film, but one can only hope that he refrains from his desire to play the role of Lennon, we want to actually be able to sit through this one!
